Here are the criteria that a student must fulfil before enrolling into Bachelors of Computer Science and Engineering:
Entry-Level Tests:Entry-level tests are in English, and students can secure admission only after appearing for an entry test.
Educational Requirements:High school diploma and supplements. Note: You must have scored a minimum of 62% marks to secure admission in a bachelor’s course in Bulgaria. The main subjects of study should be physics and mathematics.
English Proficiency Test:Students can sit for the university English test. If the English test is not cleared, they should attend 10 months of preparatory language and specialized courses in English or Bulgarian depending on the language in which the specialties are offered.
Here are the levels of proficiency required in the English Language:
PTE Academic (minimum score needed is 59).
TOEFL Paper, CBT, IBT (respectively with min. 550, 213, or 79 score).
PTE General (third level minimum)
The universities in Bulgaria conduct English language proficiency tests themselves, and the primary focus of these universities is on a student’s IELTS and TOEFL score, which should be above 6.5 and 81 respectively.
The primary language of instructions is English, but students can have an added advantage if they learn their regional language too. Universities in Bulgaria use English as an optional language. All courses offered are global and students across the world are eligible to apply.
Most universities accept new admission forms and applications from April – September. Students must submit their applications for the upcoming term within these months.
